Our Young Artists Platform is your launchpad to discover your voice, collaborate with peers, and shine on stage—whether you’re a soloist, part of an ensemble, or dreaming big. As we expand each term with bigger JustPlay LIVE concerts, engaging more schools, families, and young talents, we’re building toward epic events like Young Voices’ arena spectacles at the O2. Through electrifying live performances, hands-on projects, and mentorship, you’ll gain real-world skills that spark self-discovery and set you apart as a creative force. Whether honing your instrument, writing originals, or leading a band, this is where aspiration meets action in a vibrant community of like-minded artists.

 

Live Performance Opportunities

Performance is our heartbeat! As a JustPlay Young Artist, you’ll:

  • Command the stage at our JustPlay LIVE End-of-Term Concerts, in professional venues with top-tier sound, lighting, and audiences growing bigger each year—our next summer show expects 400+ attendees!
  • Headline festivals, community showcases, and collaborative events, from solo sets to band medleys that celebrate creativity and connection.
  • Perform for free audiences, building confidence and inspiring others in a supportive, high-energy environment.

 

Expanding Our Impact: Audition for JustPlay LIVE This Summer!

We’re taking our mission further by inviting schools across the region to nominate talented students (Year 3-11) for our expanded Young Musicians Platform. This free opportunity opens doors for gifted young artists—soloists, ensembles, or bands—to represent their school, grow through expert coaching, and perform in our massive JustPlay LIVE summer concert in July. No affordability barriers here—it’s all about aspiration, creativity, community, and self-discovery!

 

Online Audition:

Submit a video of you performing one piece to camera—show us your spark! (Details and submission link coming soon—schools will receive invites post-Easter.)

Top talents head to our New Haw studio for a fun, supportive session judged by our expert panel.

Up to 5 acts advance as JustPlay Young Artists! You’ll:

  • Represent your school with pride.
  • Receive a gleaming trophy, certificate, and scholarships for ongoing music development.
  • Enjoy personalized coaching on playing, performance, and recording techniques.
